The rule goes something like this. If you look at something you will hit it! Keep reading as I am offering something FREE to help you avoid this.
Most valuable less learned in motorcycle safety training
I learned this concept in motorcycle safety training, and it is true. When you look at something, it can be on the ground, on the road, etc. you will automatically go toward it. I often share this with children learning to ride a bike or learning to drive. If you look at the mailbox, you will hit it. If you look at the pothole, you will hit it (just ask my husband when he dumped his motorcycle into a big one).
What does FREE have to do with hitting things?
I am offering my blog readers and their friends access to my newly revised Balance and Flexibility Online Zoom Class for ONE MONTH, the month of April. This is not an April fools joke! I believe so strongly that we all need to have better balance and flexibility that I am willing to offer the class for free in April. As a nurse, I hate to see people get hurt needlessly.
You need to do this
Think about it. Are you of those people that often look at your feet when you are walking? Do you maybe trip or stumble a little more than you use to? Have you injured your knee, wrist, or hip because of that tumble?
Here are the facts according to the CDC that people turning 60 and beyond should take seriously.
The facts according to the CDC
- One out of five falls causes a serious injury such as broken bones or a head injury,
- Each year, 3 million older people are treated in emergency departments for fall injuries.
- More than 95% of hip fractures are caused by falling, usually by falling sideways.
If you don’t want to be a statistic give this class a try.
Classes are LIVE and on ZOOM every Tuesday and Thursday at 9 am Pacific Time.
Check out my Classes Tab or click HERE for more details, or contact me directly at turning60andbeyond@gmail.com if you are still not sure.
Classes begin APRIL 1st, but you can check it out anytime in April just by going to the classes tab and clicking the T60Fit Classes box or contacting me directly. That’s the way to get the zoom link.
What have you got to lose – except your balance?
