Those decade milestones are challenging. It's hard when we hit 60, 70, or 80. Sometimes seeing that number affects how we feel physically. We get it.
Retiring from my position as Assistant Dean at Stanford Medicine, I felt my career and life were in the rearview mirror. It was hard being a PIP (previously important person). So I hit the reset button and said goodbye to that "self" with a renewed focus on fitness and health.
Bill is days away from working full-time to becoming his own PIP. We will chronicle his journey of PIPhood.
