Those decade milestones are challenging. It's hard when we hit 60, 70, or 80. Sometimes seeing that number affects how we feel physically. We get it.
Retiring from my position as Assistant Dean at Stanford Medicine, I felt my career and life were in the rear view mirror. It was hard being a PIP (previously important person). So I hit the reset button and said goodbye to that "self" with a renewed focus on fitness and health.
Bill is trying to forge his retirement plan as well. We are both in our journey of PIPhood.
